there is PURPOSE.
A fresh year offers time to evaluate, to step back and rethink. I love a new year and if truth be told, a new day.
Several months have been spent thinking, praying…taking time, with fresh perspective, to look deeply at each area of my life. This is not completed because I felt out of sorts or off course.
More so because it’s necessary to pause at times, yes?
Yes. Pause and reflect.
One conclusion in this attempt to structure life according to God’s plans has to do with this little ole blog, this space which has been such an enjoyable journey. But before explaining the inner workings of that vision, let me share my word for 2011. A word received in prayer, written quickly in journal and kept before me each day.
NOURISH.
Oh, I love it. I heard Him whisper this word to me and I initially wept while reading portions of Webster’s definition :: to sustain, to foster, to strengthen…to cherish. This word speaks to the core of my heart; I’ve been unpacking it slowly.
Nourish :: in soul, body and spirit. Nourish.
And how does the blog space fit into this picture? I plan to share more, so stay tuned!
