The month of March was full –
off to Tennessee twice, taping videos and sharing with Rebecca Keliher, all eventually for the larger homeschool community…
then the next weekend relaxing and learning with blogging friends.
There was the A Woman Inspired conference, a super experience speaking to an online community of women. Right from my own home – technology is amazing!
And to wrap up this full yet God-ordained season, I was to be at The 2:1 Conference this weekend. Encouraging homeschool blogging Mamas to Give God Room – the theme of our time together.
Except I’m not. I’m at home.
Home.
Undergoing various testing…to find reason for some significant abdominal pain that just won’t let up. Out-of-the-blue, piercing at times and causing this high pain tolerance Mom to double over. Initial screening isn’t offering much, but the pain begs for attention.
And keeps me home.
So what does one do after weeks (months!) of pressing into God, listening to His voice for direction? Hoping to share only what He speaks – to lift hearts to Him?
More of the same…more of the same.
Keep praying, keep pressing, keep trusting His voice of direction. Keep lifting my heart to Him…
even when plans change.
Bags won’t be packed, time with old and new friends won’t be had, and there are 125 postcards sitting here at home.
Yet these words can be shared, true?
No, you won’t get the power-point presentation – full of personal stories, practical steps to take, Scripture and a focus on moving beyond fear. We won’t be in the same space and place…
but our God is. And today I believe He’ll take these words to bless your heart in some way:
- refuse to allow FEAR to choke you, to silence your voice
- rise above past mistakes, don’t hold them against your future
- require more of yourself, stretch and grow — do it!
- remember Whose you are, because it’s all for His glory
GIVE GOD ROOM.
As a small gift to readers here and those who may stop by — you can download the above postcard as a PDF and print.

So now, we wait. I’ll update when more is known and as I can.
Appreciate your prayers…and grace to your weekend.
Praying for you sweet lady and asking God to bless your heart and your body as you bless so many. I thank God for how you meet my heart via a simple computer screen.
I will be awaiting your update, Daniele. Praying for you!
Praying for you. Thank you for ministering to us in the midst of your pain. In quietness and confidence will be your strength.
I am praying for you — for rest, peace, and wisdom to find out what is causing you such pain.
Praying for you! I loved the message you shared. And while I know it was meant for the conference, I am thankful that I got to hear those words too! Thank you for sharing them. Our life is not our own! Many Blessings to you and much peace and recovery.
Praying for you. No answers but tons of sympathy. Ashley

Love those truths and need the right now! Thank you for the gift in the midst of your pain. Praying for you!
I know this is really random, but last month, my husband had unexplained, very sharp abdominal pain with no results from an array of blood and hormone work, MRI and ct scan. It was very painful for more than a week and then slowly subsided, being completely gone after about 3 weeks. After all that, we deduced it may have been a spider bite (black widow) to his lower back. Just thought I would throw that out there since we had an eerily similar experience just recently. Good luck, thanks for your great blog
I hope you feel better soon!
I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well. I’ll be praying that the doctors find out the cause and that you will be pain-free soon! So sorry about the change of plans. I bet there will be some unexpected way to use those 125 cards.
Sorry both about the pain that you are experiencing and the fact that you can’t attend the conference! I will be praying that you can get to the root of the problem quickly!
