:: this quote read from another blog~

Creativity will broaden, deepen, intensify
your relationship with God.
It can be your most vital, viable, examining experience,
resulting in worship and wonder."

~Ruth Vaughn

:: this piano piece that totally captivated me this week.  true to my nature, I hear it once, did a frantic search for the sheet music, downloaded and began playing…all within 15 minutes. beautiful

SPATTS.Florida 261 :: flowers that once graced our table, no fresh beauty there now, so this picture will have to do

:: sunshine.  oh, sunshine!

:: a visit this weekend to the symphony!  As a child, our family went several times a year and it’s been a long time since I’ve heard a full orchestra live.  My sister & I go to hear our favorite pianist performing our favorite piano concerto {she had a recording playing during her labor with my nephew!}.

::  cup after cup of hot tea.  yum.

hope your day and weekend is full of lots of good things, laughter and lightness.  enjoy.

    Well, I’ve never heard of Yiruma before (sp?). Beautiful piece of music. I’m a huge fan of Jim Brickman; are you familiar with his work? I’ve been to several concerts of his, most recently at Christmas! Piano music is a favorite of mine. I love the stories painted through these artists.

    Creativity is a knack we all possess. It simply manifests its worth in a variety of ways. Hoping to “zero” in on some of mine this week when the kids return to school.

    blessings and peace~elaineReplyCancel

    thanks elaine for passing on Brickman’s name, I’m not familiar with his work, but a quick youtube search led me to some nice songs! I didn’t know Yiruma either until this song.ReplyCancel

    I have often found while creating a piece of work – especially in quilting – the very presence of the “creator” in the thing. We are made in the image of the Supreme Creator and I find myself very close to the Lord during those times. Thanks for sharing such a great quote.ReplyCancel
