It’s here. December.
Long exhale.
Well, almost — today and tomorrow hold choir concerts for the children, birthday celebrations for a certain boy, and grandparents in from out of town. There will be food, feasting and merry making for sure!
Yet this month typically holds the settling down of routines and schedules after my husband’s consistent travel in the fall. We’re all together again in rhythmic fashion. Yes.
In December especially, in all of the giving and exchanging, I am deeply aware of my need for the Savior. Of my need to receive what He came to give.
I shared simple words on this thought, join me over in that place? Just a simple conclusion in thinking on this season.
It’s a time to give, and a time to receive — let’s not miss what Christ is offering.
