In my kitchen recently ::

last weekend I whipped up chocolate chip peppermint cookies and they only sort of went over well.  Being a ‘for the family’ recipe since I don’t eat much chocolate-based desserts (even though our chips were of the vegan variety), the family voted this one down.  Oh, well…

muffins of many varieties have been made :: great & quick breakfasts along with smoothies!

I’m thinking on plans for making our own coconut milk yogurt, this maker was recommended to me.  I like the idea of glass jars.  Any other recommendations?

ditto about sprouts!  I’ve been wanting to grow these for a while and am taking the plunge soon!  It can’t be that hard, right?

we’ve had several ‘freezer cooking days’ where muffins & breads, shepherd’s pie, meatloaf, various fruits for smoothies, and an abundance of other meals have been made and saved for days ahead.

It’s a fun and busy place, this kitchen of ours!
