Reflect on the needs of your soul -->

breaking free from the urgent

breaking free from the urgent

We pause for a moment…

In all reality this break from the daily of life is short.  Our spirits could cry out for more, believing what we have simply doesn’t suffice.  It’s not enough.

More time, please?

But a little becomes much when God is in it.

He is the master of taking small things, such as a few loaves and fish, and multiplying abundantly.

The master.

And in this moment, this purposeful pause, I am grateful for His multitude of gifts :: lavish, gracious, generous, and refreshing.  He has taken our small offering and returned abundance.

Oh, how I love this God!  So, I give praise for the gifts….

for tame weather conditions, allowing for outdoor exploration

a hospitable facility, hosting our pause with care

good friends, partners in ministry

a sharing of journeys, of struggles, of joy :: building the bond between

for the listening heart of another, a ‘new friend’, offering grace

who holds our words with tenderness and prays the heart of the Father

for the Father :: the God who sees, who knows all and who is the Giver

…the Giver of all the we have received and rested in.

who multiplied the pause.

thank you, thank you to this gracious God.
