As I think on my bucket list of sorts and other summer plans, I’m reminded how goal setting doesn’t need to be a stressor in our lives.
Taking any goal and breaking it into baby steps, and then acting on those, is the heart of doing what’s important. Really, this part is not too hard (though I do understand it’s not always easy). Defining what’s truly important to us is often the greatest difficulty.
If you find yourself living according to the significant and not just the urgent, I applaud you and cheer us both on!
If you know adjustments need to be made, I stand with you. This process is one to be protected, to be evaluated often. Don’t lose heart or give up — slow down, redefine and set SMART goals, then move forward.
Grace…

Well good grief, if that grin doesn’t epitomize Happy New Year I don’t know what does!I’m so glad I read this today. Sometimes I reervt my thinking to, oh I just wan’t to be a kid again . Then I realize, I AM a kid still. I just wear grown up clothes (most of the time) and do the grown up things. Again, MOST of the time. =)Being a grown up does rock, Katie’s right!
