Well the report from the orthopedics is that I possibly had a ganglion cyst forming in my left wrist; hidden from view and pressing on a nerve. I received a cortisone injection into the wrist area {can you say ouch!} and the splint was on for several days. My hand is currently still fairly sore and I’m gingerly typing.
I’ll return to the 30 days of food as soon as I’m able. In the in between, our family has been enjoying some delicious meals provided by our church family care group! {I finally surrendered to receiving help :: why is that so difficult at times?}.
I’m glad you accepted the help of meals being brought over and hope you heal quickly.
New banner? Very nice.
Prayers for healing. 🙂
No pride, just say thank you Lord with His grace for all offers of help. I have had to learn this lesson in a crash course since my husband’s car accident on June 6th. Beings we are self employed and a series of major events preceded this one which wiped out all of our savings, our small community has rallied around us and they are literally supporting us (our business and our personal finances)100% until my husband can work again. Now if that isn’t God’s faithfulness, I don’t know what is. I am ‘so’ grateful to Him for His care and provision. We have lacked nothing! This is beyond humbling. It was the hardest thing in the world in the beginning to accept help. Pride? We have ‘never’ needed or would ever have accepted help in the past. We are accustomed to being the ones to help others.
I praise God for His faithfulness to help you too in your time of need. 🙂
Take care of yourself!
Sending you healing prayers. Enjoy this extra time with the kids.
